For this piece, I wanted to prove that you could make a cute fashion piece out of unconventional materials that a person would actually wear. I decided to use masking tape because it is an unconventional material that has been used very little in the making of fashion. It also makes a unique 'fabric' that worked very well as a dress.

To make this piece, I started off by cutting out the shapes that I wanted it to be out of paper. I then layered masking tape over the paper in a way that is visually pleasing. I then added black and gold glitter to add a stylish but elegant touch.

I decided to create this piece to symbolize a person "melting" because of all of the things happening around them. The meaning for this piece isn't very specific because I wanted to leave it up for interpretation of the viewer.

I used watercolor to create the face that appears to be melting. I then added a black gradient border to separate the face from the background. The background was created by adding a lot of water and paint and lastly splattering the watercolor over is to give it sort of a fiery feeling with the warm colors.

The inspiration for this piece was Pablo Picasso. I wanted to recreate the cubist style made popular by this famous artist but in a unique way that separates it from his work.

To begin, I layered the three primary colors to create a background for the piece. I then added random lines to create the cubist style. After this, I filled in a few of the blank spaces with a galaxy background. I filed the rest of the empty space with relatively neutral colors to add emphasis to the galaxies.
